外来の天敵が増える中、ネイティブバードたちは徐々に標高を上げながら子孫繁栄をしその種を繋いできた。
その中にIiwiという目と羽の一部以外はすべて真っ赤な花の蜜が吸いやすいようにくちばしが曲がった鳥がいる。
それらが奏でる美しい鳴き声を朝食などを取りながら聞いて頂けたら嬉しい。
